Cycle day 7

Yes, I managed to get through this month's period! I hope you're all having a good week so far. Today is cycle day 7 for me and to be honest I feel like I'm operating on a low battery!


I'm like Humpty Dumpty. Day 1 is where I've fallen down and fallen apart. There is no one to put me back together but I do have people who can temporarily help me up! I am still feeling a bit delicate but I need to try to pick myself up before my ovulation pain starts (and before my next period). If my calculations are correct, my ovulation pain will start in a few days (yay).


How will you try and heal?

  • Diet - add in more fruit and veg to help with my (ahem) constipation issues from my painkillers. Laxido has not really helped me this week.

  • Drink more water (see above).

  • Exercise - maybe some gentle yoga from Boho Beautiful Yoga

  • Also, some gentle walking with Milo. He will be very happy to hear this! Thank you for the motivation @pelvicpainnetwork!

  • A plan to reduce the bleeding next month. One of my lovely followers mentioned tranexamic acid. This should help to reduce the blood loss during my period so that I don't have to sleep on a towel or ruin many many pairs of underwear. I can confirm I have an appointment with my GP to discuss this.
