The start of a (very) long fertility journey

Laura Chin-See

My fertility journey started in 2012 and sort of went hand in hand with the discovery that I had Endometriosis and Fibroids. I had no idea that these issues could affect your fertility. I had started taking fertility vitamins, tracking my ovulation, having acupuncture and changing my diet. It felt like the longer my fertility issues dragged on, the more obsessed I was with trying to get it to work. One major tip I have is to stay away from Google! I would research every single sign and symptom in the hope that it would mean a positive result.

We did our first round of IVF (ICSI) in 2018. I will talk about this more in my next post. I just want to say that for all the people out there going through fertility treatments, I really feel for you because it's an absolute roller coaster of emotions.
