Because the lining of my uterus is too thin, my consultant thought it would be best to try doing a mock (test) cycle before committing to another full round of IVF. The purpose of this mock cycle will be to see how my uterus reacts to the IVF hormone drugs (injections and tablets) i.e. hopefully the lining will increase to at least the minimum thickness. I have been prescribed tablets, injections, patches and suppositories. A quadruple whammy! My consultant wants to ensure we try everything.
I’m taking all the normal IVF drugs as if I was doing a real cycle, starting with down regulation.
